Knowledene self catering flats are ideally situated for viewing the Blackpool Illuminations
which are "switched on" in early September and "off" in early November.
There are about 5 miles of continuous displays along and to the side of the promenade.
The photo opposite shows a tram passing Uncle Tom's Cabin which is near our
self catering holiday flats.
This view shows the Circus Casino which is opposite Uncle Tom's
Cabin. Knowledene Self Catering Holiday Apartments is located
approximately two minutes' walk down the road between them.
Opposite is the roundabout at Gynn Square (also known as the Magic Roundabout) as
it was two years ago. It now houses a skeleton tree. It is about five minutes' walk, going towards
Blackpool, from Knowledene Self Catering Holiday Flats.
The Gynn Hotel Blackpool is behind the roundabout. Besides selling
beverages, it has a restaurant where meals are available until
8 pm, and there is a separate family room & play area for children.
