Our self catering holiday apartments are situated in the North Shore of Blackpool.
This is a pleasant and relatively quiet area of Blackpool with
plentyof parkinh. There is a long golden beach below a relaxing grass walk
to Bispham, ideal for walking dogs. During the Illuminations, it is very pleasant
just strolling along viewing the giant Illuminations plaques.
is at the top of the road. It provides meals & entertainment. There is a
spendid seating area outside where you can sit with your dog, but
unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside. Opposite The Cabin,
cliffs lead down from the Promenade to a lower 'Prom' which is
sheltered and is popular with sunbathers. For the less agile, there
is a lift down the 40 feet or so.
Trams run in both directions along the Promenade - to Fleetwood to the north, and
Blackpool town centre, the Tower, piers, and Pleasure Beach to the south.
Blackpool North Shore Golf Course is within an easy walk of the apartments.
Directions
Leave the M55 Motorway at A583, and follow the signs for the North Shore. Go along
Preston New Road past the Windmill and, after 1 mile, past the traffic lights to the Park & Zoo.
At the next traffic lights, turn right along Whitegate Drive still
following the signs for the North Shore. Carry on this road (which becomes Devonshire Road),
past the Devonshire Arms, until reaching the black & white chevron tiled mini-roundabout
at the junction with Warbreck Hill Road. Go straight across and then across the next chevron
mini-roundabout.
Take the next left turn into Knowle Avenue. We are almost at the end of the road on the right,
just before the chemist's shop.
